Mihyun Lee studied Korean Dance, Choreography, Somatic Psychology, and Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analysis. Her professional dance practice, which began in 1992, has shaped her understanding of the primal nature of the body and its expression.
She established a movement-oriented psychotherapy approach called Kinesiopsychotherapy to promote psychological well-being through movement practice.
She serves children, adults, couples, families, and groups in the Bay Area. She specializes in early childhood mental health, intergenerational trauma, immigration, adoption, relationship dynamics, dyadic therapy, and adults with relational trauma.
